Love… Breastfeeding Style

Can I Breastfeed In It is all about finding clothes you wouldn’t ordinarily think are suitable for breastfeeding, that are stylish and make you feel great too!

Love Clothing is stylish, on trend and featured on SilkFred.  In particular on the SilkFred breastfeeding friendly page!

These two Love Clothing outfits show how high street fashion need not be a barrier to breastfeeding!

Animal Print Long Sleeve Wrap Dress

This fashionable animal print dress is a long sleeved and on trend midi length. It features a v neck crossover wrap front, an elasticated waist, and asymmetrically hemmed wrap skirt.  I wasn’t sure of the leopard print at first but I was pleasantly surprised, once I had it on I felt a bit glam and it definitely jazzed up my weekday dressing style!

I think this is pretty flattering on! It definitely gives an hourglass outline, courtesy of the nipped in elasticated waist.   There is a tie at the waist, but purely for show.  The drapey skirt skims nicely over my mum tum and it has a nice asymmetric and split style!  It looks fab paired with black tights and boots! The model on the website pairs it with a thick belt which also looks gorgeous!

It’s made of 100% polyester.  It’s smooth and synthetic feeling but not unpleasant!   It’s not too thin and doesn’t seem like it would be prone to pulls or snags. There’s not any stretch to the material, but it’s quite loose and really comfortable to wear!

Sizewise I sized up and it was a little big, so I would say it’s true to size fitting, follow the size guide and get your usual size.  I’m 5”6 and the hem is below my knee.

In regards to breastfeeding access, the v neck is loose and can be pulled aside. It’s very roomy for boobs of all sizes.  This dress would be fine for tandem feeders as there’s plenty of room for both boobs to be out at once!

I think this would be a lush date night dress, or even just one for a bit of extra every day sassiness, it was a nice change to be a bit dressier when out and about with the wee one!  It is such an easy dress to wear as it is so comfortable and easy for nursing, and instantly looks glamorous! Navy Batwing Midi Wrap Dress

At first glance this may not look breastfeeding friendly with the fixed v neckline….. but check out the batwing sleeves, loads of room for boob access, and discrete too. Lush huge sleeves which also means lush easy boob access-love this style for boobing!

The dress has a tie detail at the back of the neckline and the fixed v at the front. There is a removable belt with belt ties, nice to have a belt to tie and hang across where you feel most comfortable! The skirt is a pencil shape with a cross over and taper too, with the skirt folds over the front it is also nice and flattering.  At 5ft 5 it falls to just below my knee.

This is dress is one for meals out, occasions, Christenings, one for heels and a bit of sparkle!

At first I admit I wasn’t sure about this style but I think it is purely because I hadn’t appreciated that this sleek stylish style could also be breastfeeding friendly. Why can’t a nursing mum not add a bit of glamour to her wardrobe?! This dress does make me feel glam, like I want to add some killer heels and bling and be that slinky boobing mum!

The dress is 95%polyester and 5% elastase giving it a nice little stretch.

I love a large sleeve for nursing so this dress is excellent, I may not have chosen this dress originally but I really like it, there are no boundaries, boobing mums are going out in style!
